What was once a playful science-fiction cartoon has turned into a movie franchise and spawned the careers of Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf. So what happens when you’ve created three films in a blockbuster franchise? You make a fourth. And we’ve got pictures of the next Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Bumblebee was originally a Volkswagen Beetle in the animated version, but when it came time to create the first Transformers film, GM won the bidding war and Bumblebee has taken form in variations of the Chevrolet Camaro. Apparently the crew of Transformers 4 won’t bite the hand that feeds them, and Bumblebee will again appear in American muscle glory, perhaps best suited to fight the evil Decepticons. While the last two Transformers films failed to match the astounding success of the first one, they’ve still been successful at creating a massive industry—toys, memorabilia, etc.—and we’d expect the same fourth installment.
