Thread of the Day: Which Car Would You Drive Across the U.S.?
Driving across the U.S. makes for a truly epic drive, but what car would you take? That’s the subject of today’s Thread of the Day.
We’ve shared the top 10 vehicles with the longest range for Labor Day road trips and asked about your favorite epic drive; now it’s Frisky_Dingo‘s turn to provide a different question in the road trip category. If you had to get behind the wheel of a car that’s currently in production by yourself or with one passenger and gas was prepaid, what car would you drive across the U.S.?
Would you still prioritize a vehicle that has a long range so you don’t have to refuel often? Or get something with a sonorous V-8 engine so you can take advantage of every tunnel? Would you veer toward comfort and take a luxury coupe or sedan?
Choices in the original thread include the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a Jeep Wrangler, Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, and even a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. If you were driving a car across the U.S., what would you take?
