Thread of the Day: Name Your Favorite 1990s Rear-Drive Performance Car
Last week, we asked you what was your favorite performance car from the 1980s, and your answers varied wildly. Now, we want to learn what your favorites are from the following decade. By the beginning of the 1990s, a performance renaissance was brewing thanks to new technologies like multi-port fuel-injection and advanced computer controls that allowed for more useable power and increased fuel economy with reduced emissions. With many affordable ‘90s sports cars still roaming the streets today, we want to know which one is your favorite.
From America, there are plenty of cars to choose from, including the Ford Mustang GT, Cobra and Cobra R models, Chevrolet Corvette and Camaro, Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am, and Dodge Viper. There are plenty of others though, like the Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7 and Miata, Nissan 240SX and 300ZX, as well as high-dollar sports cars from Ferrari and Porsche.
