SEMA Sedans: 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Turbo and 2014 Chevrolet Impala Ready for SEMA
The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Turbo and 2014 Chevrolet Impala are the latest vehicles set to become SEMA show stars. We’ve already seen images of the Chevrolet Spark, Sonic, and Cruze concepts heading to the show later this month, and now Chevrolet has revealed more about its SEMA show presence, from the Malibu Turbo pictured here to a customized Impala as well as a few Corvette and Camaro concepts.
While we’ll have to wait until October 30 to see how Chevrolet has customized 2014 Corvettes and new Camaros, the Malibu Turbo Performance concept is shown right here. The concept’s design tweaks, from the chunky five-spoke 20-inch wheels (in “Night Rider” chrome) to the clear taillight lenses and the muscular body kit, really make the most of the Malibu Turbo’s curb appeal. The Malibu Turbo Performance concept includes upgraded suspension parts, six-piston front brake calipers with two-piece cross-drilled rotors and a cold-air intake system.
As for the 2014 Chevrolet Impala concept, the automaker hasn’t yet released any photos, but says that the special version will adopt a red and black color scheme, with refinished 20-inch wheels, red exterior paint, and a black leather interior. Until the SEMA show starts, check out the Chevrolet Spark, Sonic, and Cruze concepts below alongside the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Turbo Performance concept.
