Revealed: Chevrolet Camaro Racer Competing in 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series
A Chevrolet-Camaro bodied racer will compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and make its debut at Daytona International Speedway in February. The NASCAR-approved Camaro racecar has been under development for more than a year. In the Sprint Cup Series, a version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS will represent GM.
Designers and engineers integrated certain Camaro production car styling cues such as the power-bulge hood, grille design, and the appearance of the stock car’s available halo light rings. Wind tunnel and on-track testing will continue to optimize the racecars’ aerodynamics before the February debut.
Chevrolet says it currently has the most wins, manufacturing standings, and driver points in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and hopes the new Camaro racecar will continue its lead. What do you think about the new Chevrolet Camaro NASCAR Nationwide Series racecar?
