Midsize Car: Toyota Camry, 35,870 units

The numbers are different, but the story is the same. The Toyota Camry once again wins bragging rights to America’s most competitive segment, the midsize family sedan. Once again, the Camry was well ahead of the competition, selling almost more than 4,000 models over the number two, Honda Accord. Good fuel economy, a comfortable and cavernous cabin, and a great starting price continue to be a winning formula. The Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Malibu round out the top five spots, with the Hyundai Sonata coming in sixth place. The Toyota Camry remains the best-selling car in America.
