2 Row Crossover: Ford Escape, 28,694 units

Much like the pickup truck segment, the Blue Oval is the frontrunner here. The Ford Escape has sold near 29,000 units this month, giving the CUV a 2,000 vehicle edge over the Honda CR-V. The Chevrolet Equinox, Toyota RAV4, and Nissan Rogue round out the top five spaces. The Escape has remained at the top of this segment for quite some time, and is expected to remain if current sales trends continue. The compact crossover segment is the fastest growing in America, and is expected to keep on growing. The added versatility are particularly attractive to small familes.
