Pickup Truck: Ford F-Series, 68,009 units

Much like the midsize sedan segment, we probably could have written this one with a good measure of accuracy a month ago. Per usual, the Ford F-Series is the top-selling pickup for the month, though sales were down slightly from May’s 71,604 models sold. There was no other automaker remotely close to these numbers, and the number two of the segment was the Chevrolet Silverado with an almost identical tally this month at 43,259 units sold. The Dodge Ram 1500/HD sold nearly 30,000 models to rank third for June. Ford’s dominance is expected to only grow once the new F-Series hits showrooms, based on the Ford Atlas Concept unveiled in Detroit.
