Feature Flick: Coverage of Hot Rod Power Tour Starts This Week

If you’ve been a close follower of the domestic performance scene for the last few decades, chances are you’ve heard of the Hot Rod Power Tour, a multi-state, multi-stage event approaching its 20th anniversary. Although this year’s event wrapped up a few weeks ago, the Motor Trend channel will bring you a full week of behind-the-scenes videos documenting the 1,500 mile high-horsepower road trip from Arlington, Texas to Concord, North Carolina, showing the full gamut of muscle from classic 1960s muscle cars, custom street rods, and modern-day V-8 power.

Highlighting this year’s event is an epic 73-car simultaneous burnout, and high octane videos hosted by Hot Rod Radio’s Dennis Pittsenbarger for a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on this one-of-a-kind event. If you want to be part of the Power Tour action for next year, stay tuned to Hot Rod’s website for details on the 2014 Power Tour.
