Chevrolet Sonic Dusk Sedan Gets Green Light, Heading to SEMA
The Chevrolet Sonic Dusk sedan concept from last year’s SEMA show will be returning to the Las Vegas this year, but this time ready for production.
The Chevrolet Sonic Dusk, a more “sophisticated” take on the Sonic, was given the green light after a positive reception at last year’s SEMA show. Available only as a four-door sedan, the Sonic Dusk sports a ground effects package, a rear spoiler, 18-inch multi-spoke wheels, and matte trim exterior accents.
Inside the Sonic Dusk gets leather-trimmed seats with suede accents, and with contrasting tan inserts and stitching. The Sonic Dusk will also get Chevy’s MyLink infotainment system as standard equipment. The sole engine option on the Sonic Dusk will be the 1.4-liter turbocharged I-4 making 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque.
While the Sonic RS will take care of those looking for a sporty compact hatch, the Sonic Dusk will go up against the Ford Fiesta Titanium and other well-equipped semi-premium B-segment cars.
